This untouched beach is a remarkable location for bird watching and is one of the few areas where the Palm-nut Vulture can be spotted. There are an abundance of accommodation establishments nearby as well as camping sites. This is a great spot for surfing, however Mtunzini beach is not protected by shark nets due the nearby Zambezi Shark breeding ground.
